Greetings Aspire Families:

It was another great week of leaning at Aspire. Students have been engaged and working diligently in their courses. Parents just a friendly reminder, there will be no school on Monday September 2, 2024 in observance of Labor Day.

🥪🥨🍞🍎🍊🍉🍈 Parents - Please have students bring their lunches with them to school. Lunch drop-offs during the school day is highly discouraged. We understand that there are emergencies but if you can ensure that students come prepared for the day- it minimizes classroom disruptions and eases the work load of staff members trying to get lunches to your students in the building. Thank you for your help.🍕🍟🍔🥓🥯🥞

🚕 Transportation: High school students: Please wait inside the school for your ride to arrive. Students are not allowed to wait outside of the building unaccompanied.

Here are a few important reminders to ensure we continue to make the most of our learning opportunities:

🍎In Person Support: We have seen many students take advantage of the in-person support days!! Please encourage your students to continue to come into the Innovation Center to get their one-on-one support each week. High School Students - don't forget to get your punch cards for prize incentives. K-8 students - we will be introducing "Fire Cards" starting next week - stay tuned!

All students- Pizza with the Principal will be coming soon. This is to celebrate all students who exhibit the values of our FIRE matrix.

💻 Zoom Schedule for K-8 Students: To all students in grades K-8, please make sure you review your Zoom schedules regularly. Staying on top of your class times is essential to avoid missing any important lessons. Being present and engaged in your virtual classes is key to your success.

✅ Attendance Submission: Remember to submit your attendance via My Hours. This helps us keep track of your participation and ensures we can provide the necessary supports for your learning. Your attendance is crucial, so please make sure to submit it on time.

Aspire is excited to offer various in-person and virtual clubs open to students!

Clubs will begin meeting in September - many include students Kinder through 12th grade.

Starting August 6th, Aspire is open to students every Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday

from 8:30AM - 3:30PM

Parents/Guardians can drop off any Kindergarten through 12th grade Aspire student during that time, and a certified teacher will be available to assist students with

attending zooms or completing school work.

Students should bring their own *nut-free* lunch/snack if they are staying through lunchtime.

August 30th | 90-minute Early Release

September 2nd | Labor Day - NO SCHOOL

September 6th | Full day - No Early Release

Today, teachers gathered in Professional Learning Communities to finalize collective commitments that will guide collaboration for this school year. Teachers also gathered in vertical teams to find commonalities between grade-level content!
