Only students in the following programs may add a zero period to their schedule: ASB, Early College, AVID, Instrumental Music, and Yearbook.

In an effort to create a healthy academic balance, freshmen may request up to two weighted classes (AP or Honors). If the student wishes to request a third honors or AP class, the student and parent must complete an online interactive presentation and turn in a signed AP Limit Waiver.

If you are the parent of an 8th grader interested in Beckman’s Early College program, you will need to attend our 8th Grade Parent Night on Tuesday, March 24th, 2020 at 6:00pm. Be sure to attend the Early College breakout session.

Early College is not for everyone, so if you decide you want to pursue it, you will have to apply & get admitted to the program. Our program is a 4-year commitment. You will receive an application packet at the parent night; you can also print the forms below to begin the process. A completed application, current transcript (may be printed off Aeries--does not have to be official) and 3 teacher recommendations must be returned to Beckman on April 19, 2019.
