Hello Northridge Families! 🌟
It’s the Last Week of School! 🎉Have a beautiful, fun-filled summer! Wishing you all love, laughter, and a world of happiness.
Can you believe it? The final week of school is here—and it’s shaping up to be FULL of fun and memories! From special moments with teachers and friends, to exciting field trips, joyful celebrations, extra time outside, and our super fun SPIRIT DAY Countdown, there’s so much joy packed into these last few days. Let’s soak up every moment, cheer each other on, and finish the year strong… together! 💫 Stay tuned and stay spirited! 🥳
School opens for the 2025-2026 school year on August 19th for Gr. 2-5.....Gr. 1 and Kindergarten will have a staggered entrance. You will receive information on this plan later this summer. More to come. SEE EVERYONE GR. 2-5 IN AUGUST! Have a great summer.
A few words from Mrs. Erhard.....
As I wrap up my time here, I want to extend my deepest appreciation to everyone. It has been a true honor and joy to work with our incredible children over the past 20 months. Getting to know the amazing students, families, and staff in this community has been a gift I will always treasure. As I head off to begin a new adventure, I carry with me countless memories and a heart full of gratitude. Thank you for welcoming me into your school family—I’ll always be cheering you on with pride.
Keep the Love of Reading Skills Sharp This Summer!
Looking ahead to summer, we encourage all of our students to visit the Alexandria Library OR COLUMBUS LIBRARY, (SEE BELOW) discover new stories, and continue the joy of reading! Keep an eye out for our Summer Reading BINGO Boards coming home—fun, creative ways to keep reading all summer long! We sent loads of reading suggestions. Everyone who participates will be invited to a special Reading Celebration when we return in the fall.
Summer is full of fun—and it’s also a great time to keep math skills fresh. Simple activities like baking, building, playing card games, or counting change can help children practice important math strategies in everyday ways. Make math part of the adventure!
Grade 5 is Off to Camp! May 27-29
We love our Grade 5 students! They have done an outstanding job setting the tone for the year and leading our school with kindness, responsibility, and spirit. Camp is a pure celebration of this extraordinary class, and we couldn’t be more proud. Clap-out was fun Friday...thanks all.
We wish our campers loads of fun, friendship, and sunshine on this great adventure! 🌞 SUNSHINE!! A big thank you to our amazing Grade 5 teachers for making this experience possible. It truly takes a village—and Northridge always shows up with full community support!
