Prestons Post
Term 3, Week 1
Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome back to all of our students and their families, we hope you have had a fabulous break and are ready for a wonderful term of learning and fun. A special welcome to our new students and their families, we know that you will love being a part of the Prestons family.
Spring Fair
Planning is underway for our very exciting Spring Fair which will be held on 19 October (the first Saturday after Week 1 in Term 4). We have a small team of busy, hard working parents who are helping to plan this great fun day. If you are able to assist in any way (helping with planning, donating goods, providing us with contacts or helping to run stalls on the day etc...) please contact the office to let us know. We really appreciate all the help we can get. There will regular mufti days where students will be asked to bring in either gold coin, packet of wrapped lollies, small toys or stationery item, hair spray, nail polish etc... this will assist us to set up some great fun stalls and raise lots of money for our school. We are also holding Super Dooper Friday each Friday afternoon. Bring along $1 and buy a cool super dooper for your trip home each Friday afternoon. A special thank you to Mrs Sharan who is helping to sell these for us.

Class Chat With 3/4 Reflective
This term ¾ Reflective are very excited to be running a bottle flip competition on Week 4, Thursday the 15th August. Our class believes it is important to model being a caring citizen at Prestons Public School in how we consider the needs of others. Our goal is to raise money for the K1 classes to buy resources for their learning. We are calling all staff and students to purchase entry into our bottle flip competition at a cost of $1. By bringing $1 you will get 1 minute to successfully land the bottle the most amount of times in our competition which will be held during lunch. Now is the time to start practicing at home!
