WELCOME TO OLD TRAIL INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL!
Hello everyone! I am Michele Trevino, the principal of Old Trail Intermediate and I am so proud to have been selected for this position. There has been much work that went into getting everything ready for our students, families, and staff. I know you will love it just as much as we do. This is my 21st year in the West Shore School District and my 30th year in education. Prior to this position I was the principal of Washington Heights, Lower Allen, and Rossmoyne Elementary Schools as well as assistant principal at Lemoyne Middle School. I also taught gifted students at the elementary level and was a middle school science teacher before joining West Shore. In 2020 I graduated with my Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of South Carolina.
Personally, my husband (Rod) and I have two grown sons and two grandchildren. I have lived in this area all my life and even attended West Shore as a student. I love sports and spend much of my time cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, Liverpool FC, and US soccer. I am also a big fan of superhero movies.
I cannot wait to build relationships with all our students and families as we work together to make Old Trail Intermediate School an amazing place!
Outside of work, I have a lovely wife (Lindsay), a daughter Faith, (8) and a son Reece, (6) along with two dogs. We are a very busy family with traveling, sports, and music experiences for all! I am an avid sports fan with my fandom reigning supreme with the Phillies, 49ers, 76ers, Philadelphia Union, and local college teams!
I am very eager to meet you all, work with your students, and make Old Trail Intermediate School the place that students want to learn, teachers want to teach, and parents trust to send their students!

What do I need to be prepared?
We have had some inquiries about supplies needed for school. There is not a supply list for students. We will have all the materials needed for in the classroom. Items you will want to have are:
- a backpack or book bag
- a lunchbox (if you plan to pack lunch)
- sneakers for gym class
Each student will have a locker near their homeroom, but they do not have locks, so none are necessary. Students are also NOT changing for gym class so no uniform will be needed.
PTO Info
The Old Trail PTO is already up an running. In the spring we had an election of officers and are very appreciative of the parents who stepped up to take on the huge task of starting a PTO from scratch. Our first PTO meeting will be held Wednesday, September 11 at 6:30 pm in the Old Trail Learning Commons (library). We will also have a ZOOM option for those who cannot attend in person. We hope many of you will join us to learn more about the events planned for this school year!
