Superintendent's Message

Dear Fairview Community,

As we enter the month of November, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for the incredible dedication, resilience, and collaboration that define our school district. This is a time of reflection and thanks, and I am continually inspired by the achievements and contributions of our students, staff, families, and community partners.

Celebrating Student Success

With Thanksgiving around the corner, our schools are engaging in meaningful activities to foster kindness, empathy, and gratitude. From food drives to service projects, our students are learning the importance of giving back to the community. I am grateful for the support of parents and volunteers who make these initiatives possible.

Preparing for Winter Weather

As we transition into colder months, I want to remind everyone of our district's inclement weather procedures. Please ensure your contact information is up-to-date so you receive timely notifications regarding school delays or closures.

Election Day!

Ms. Weston's class learned about Election Day. They researched the candidates running for President and discussed the electoral college. Students also participated in a mock election about which cookies are better: Chocolate chip or Oreos. Finally, they had their own class president election and students gave reasons why they would make a good president.

Mrs. Locurcio's 2nd grade students have been learning about Matter in Science. Students learned that materials can be combined materials to make their own kites.
