A. Food Service Equipment Bid
That the Board of Education award the bid for food service equipment to Culinary Depot.
School districts that operate federal meal programs are required to formally procure food service equipment when the estimated dollar value exceeds $25,000 (2 CFR 200). Bids were solicited for food serving equipment, Rational Combi Ovens, for South and Thomas Middle School kitchens.

Superintendent Dr. Brian Kaye first noted the following:
- Thanking the Board for the time allowed to honor and celebrate District 25's retirees during this meeting.
- Recognized the school PTAs for making Staff Appreciation Week so special.
- Brief mention of the Strategic Plan meeting from Wednesday, May 7 and thanked the Board and all involved for the work to make that meeting a Special Board of Education meeting.
- Mentioned the great PTA Scholarship Breakfast event.

Superintendent, Dr. Brian Kaye, updates the Board on Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests from the public. The following were the FOIA requests:
- Michael Ayele requested information on records related to National Child Abuse Prevention Month; a response was provided on April 24, 2025.
- Karen Garcia, Data Acquisition Specialist at SmartProcure, requested information on employee/staff contact information; a response was provided on April 25, 2025.
- William Boodro requested information on electric bills; a response was provided on May 1, 2025.
- Owen Wang, Lake County Gazette, requested information on emails and memos regarding Units of Study; a response was provided on May 6, 2025.

C. NSSEO Draft Resolution
Superintendent, Dr. Brian Kaye, presented this portion of the meeting. The Arlington Heights School District 25 Board of Education was asked to consider adopting a resolution that clarifies and formalizes expectations for its appointed representative to the Governing Board of the Northwest Suburban Special Education Organization (NSSEO).

D. Professional Learning Presentation Questions
Superintendent, Dr. Brian Kaye put aside some time to follow up on District 25's Department of Student Learning's presentation last month on the District's Professional Development Plan, its impact on the staff, and the plan's Program Review Process.
Last month's meeting was running long, and the decision was made to table Board follow up questions to this month's meeting.

*The meeting will begin at 6:15 p.m. at which time the Board will move into Closed Session until approximately 7:00 p.m. Following Closed session, the Regular Open meeting will begin.*
This meeting will be held at the Dunton Administration Building (1200 S. Dunton Ave.) and broadcasted live and recorded. The link for the livestream can be found on the Board Agenda page (www.sd25.org/BoardAgenda) the week of the meeting.
Public Comments
Anyone who wishes to make a public comment can do so, in-person, at our Board of Education meetings. The Board hosts two public comment opportunities on their agenda: 1) at the beginning of the meeting, prior to any agenda items, 2) at the end of the meeting after the agenda items have been discussed/presented.
