Hello Quantum Families,
We are almost halfway towards our goal of $18,000! We have exciting individual prizes, class prizes, and school prizes! If we hit our $18,000 goal we’ll get the dunk tank ready. We earned extra recess on Friday and are working toward a PJ day, and a Recharge day! Our prize drops are twice a week so get those donations in to support Quantum’s PTA!

Our Color Run event is Friday, November 1st from 1:15-2:45. More specific information about the event will come out next week. Plan ahead and bring some towels or a change of clothes to protect your car seats from the color! It is so much fun but the color gets everywhere!
Families are welcome to attend on the day of or volunteer before the event or on the day of. Contact Dessy Flores at deflores@eusd.org to volunteer.
Our YMCA After Dark Fall event (pdf) on Wednesday October 23rd from 6:30-7:00 is open to all Quantum Families. Watch a drum performance, dance performance, and a special glow in the dark performance. Students must be accompanied by an adult.
Our first Elements class starts next week! This is a 4 week class designed to be a deeper dive into an area where a student’s talent and passion intersect. Based on Sir Ken Robinson’s idea, our Elements offerings are inspiring and include: sportsmanship through Football, Cardboard Engineering: Dollhouse Engineering, Scratch Programming, Unusual Art, Scratch Coding, Outdoor doodling, Fall Art Projects, Minecraft Build Challenge, Programming of Edison Robots, Minecraft Collaboration Groups, Disney Character Drawings, Handmade Art, and Zine Making.
