September 14th-18th is our Transition Week. Students will be divided into two groups.
Group 1: Students with the Last Name A - K
Attend on-campus instruction Monday and Tuesday, September 14th and 15th.
This group participates in remote instruction Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, September 16th, 17th, and 18th.

Remote instruction will continue as normal for those students who selected remote instruction.
Will masks/face coverings be required?
Yes, everyone on campus will be required to wear a mask or face covering. This includes all students, faculty, staff, and any visitors to HGHS.
What time do I have to be there?
Where do I go first?
Freshmen will report to Wright Gymnasium in the mornings and will be released to their 1st block class at 8:23 a.m. (While this will be the normal daily routine, on September 14th and 17th, freshmen will remain in the Wright Gymnasium for their class meeting that starts at 8:25 a.m.)
Upperclassmen (9th-11th) will report to the Main Gymnasium in the mornings and will be released to their 1st block class at 8:25 a.m.
*Students will report to their 1st block class. We will not go to homeroom.
What time will buses run?
Please see the document below for bus route information. We are unsure of bus times for pickup. We encourage students to be ready early and to watch for their bus. The earliest pickup time is 6:25 a.m. Please be patient the first few days as everyone is learning our new routine. If you have a bus question, direct it to assistant principal Stacy Junjulas at sjunjulas@mcssk12.org.
*Students are required to wear face masks on the bus.
How do car riders enter the school?
All high school traffic can either enter the front of the school from Hwy 231-431 or use Bullard Drive. We encourage parents dropping off students to use the Hwy 231-431 entrance and the student drivers to use the Bullard Drive entrance. The traffic on the north side of campus is one-way both directions in the morning. The north side road is two-way traffic in the afternoon. For the safety of our students, we lock the gates on Bullard Drive and behind the football concession stand around 8:45 a.m. each day. All traffic during the school day must enter from Hwy 231-431. We will unlock the Bullard Drive gate and the gate behind the football concession stand around 2 p.m. to allow the elementary traffic to use these entrances.
Morning drop-off
Parents, please use the car line drop off area to drop off your student. Dropping students off in front of the school, in the student parking lot in the aisles, Woolley Gym area, bus parking lot, and teacher parking lot is not allowed.
Afternoon pick-up
There are only two locations to pick up students in the afternoon. These locations are in the car line or in a vacant parking space. Students are not allowed to be picked up in the front of the school, in the student parking lot in the aisles, Woolley Gym area, bus parking lot, or teacher parking lot. Students who are picked up in the incorrect areas will be disciplined. If any student is unsure, all they have to do is ask.
How do I get a parking space?
What school supplies do I need to bring?
*If you have checked out a school Chromebook, you will need to bring it with you each day. Be sure to charge your Chromebook at night, and bring a fully charged Chromebook to school each day.
*If you have NOT checked out a school Chromebook, you may bring your personal laptop if you choose to do so. If you do not wish to bring a personal device, we will check out a school Chromebook to you next week. All students will need a laptop or Chromebook (fully charged) at school each day.
What is the dress code?
How do I pay school fees?
What's for breakfast and lunch?
*All students will be able to eat breakfast and lunch at no cost through December 31, 2020.
