GOOD SHEPHERD WITH FATHER BILL
STATIONS OF THE CROSS BY NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY
Thank you to our 8th grade National Junior Honor Society members for their participation and performance of the Living Stations of the Cross. Our students gathered at 11am in our gym to watch this powerful scene on Holy Thursday.
"THE MASS OF THE LORD'S SUPPER"
On Wednesday (3/27) the school made the intentional decision to utilize Thursdays readings a day early (The Mass of Lord’s Supper). The thought was, it will be nice for students to experience the readings from that Mass. Given that this Mass is typically a Thursday evening Mass, we felt not many of our students have had the opportunity to attend this traditional Holy Week Mass. Our fifth graders participated in the communion service readings and our first graders helped with acting out the gospel reading. Thank you to all who were able to participate and attend this service, our students really enjoyed it!
“He laid aside his outer garments, and taking a towel, tied it around his waist. Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet and to wipe them with the towel that was wrapped around him“ (John 13:1–15).

The French Boys Choir from Paris, France, will perform at Las Vegas.
Concert is on Wednesday April 10th at St. Viator Catholic Church at 8:15am.
Children globetrotters, les Petits Chanteurs France have been singing and traveling in France and all over the world for 10 years.
This institution gives young boys a special experience of life through singing and group life. Traveling in various countries also gives them the opportunity to discover different cultures. Their life is made of concerts, television shows, singing lessons, tours and participating in the liturgy.
They regularly give concerts of the repertoire (Handel's Messiah, Mozart's Requiem, Vivaldi's Gloria, etc.) in prestigious places, and also sing for humanitarian causes.
Les Petits Chanteurs de France will be on tour in the Southwest of the United States this Spring 2024. They will offer concerts including music from the sixteenth century to the present day, patriotic songs - and the well known Hallelujah from Handel, Ave Maria from Gounod, as well as music pieces of the French folklores and patriotic songs. They will also exclusively sell their last CD.
This choir of 16 passionate boys and teenagers, from 9 to 18 years old, is conducted by Veronique THOMASSIN-OLIVIER, and accompanied by François OLIVIER, who is also the Titular of the Choir Organ at the prestigious church St. Eustache at Paris (France).

STAFF PARKING LOT CONCERNS
The Staff Parking Lot off Eastern Ave is assigned for staff parking, assigned foundation parking, handicapped parking, and school visitor parking only!! This lot is not for student drop off and/or pick up. Parents and Visitors are STILL parking in Foundation Spots. We have resorted to placing cones in those spots to keep these spaces reserved for the intended families. The Foundation spaces are purchased annually and no one else is able to park in these spaces for any reason. This includes: dropping off a student, dropping off a lunch, picking up a sick student from the office, or any other reason.
The Staff Parking Lot off Eastern Ave is assigned for staff parking, assigned foundation parking, handicapped parking, and school visitor parking only!! This lot is not for student drop off and/or pick up. Please do not use this lot because it is closer, or that you do not want to use the loop, or that you do not want to use the church lot. We have had numerous traffic jams due to people using this lot when they should not be. We are also receiving complaints from those individuals who are authorized to use those spots as well as delivery drivers who are authorized to use the loading zone.

VIATOR PARISH TUITION RATE REMINDER
The most significant criteria to qualify for the Viator Parish rate is regular attendance at Sunday Mass using your envelopes.
In order to qualify for the Viator rate you MUST:
- Attend a minimum of 26 masses (Saturday or Sunday)
- Use the envelopes sent to you from the church
- Forgot your envelope? Remember your parish number and use a blank envelope provided at mass.
DO NOT
- Mail in your envelopes to St. Viator church. These will not be counted.
- Drop off your envelope in the church on a school mass day.
- Forgetting the envelope and telling the church or school you went.
Tuition review will happen end of November and you should have 13 or more masses by this time. All rates will be reviewed and possibly adjusted after the assessment. If your rate is adjusted it will be reflected on the December statement. Please DO NOT call or email the school office or church office to ask if changes are being made until after the receipt of your statement.
Remember, parents are a model of faith for their children and when families join us on a regular basis they are showing their children the priority faith and church has in their lives.
