NEISD is hosting our 23rd Annual Family Engagement Training on Friday, February 28th. Join us to listed to our Keynote Speaker Ernesto Mejia, visit our Resource Fair and attend two breakout sessions. As always, I am here to support families and the community. I can assist with resources, home-school partnerships, parent/community education classes and more!

Lunch will be provided, interpretation and limited child care services may be provided for those who pre-register.

The Safe School Institute (SSI) is a one-stop center for all aspects of school safety. The institute strives to reduce victimization, deter delinquency, and increase campus reporting through prevention based presentations and trainings.

Family & Community Engagement Services from our Special Education Department
Our North East ISD Transition Specialists & Special Education Family Engagement Specialist provide support and resources which can be found on their website.
During February they will feature a sessions on the SSI and Work, College Planning, Section 504, STAAR Supports, Communication Skills, and more! Please see their newsletter for a complete list of all sessions offered in February.

Family Engagement Liaison Request Form
Please fill out the following form to request assistance from the Family Engagement Liaison. Holiday Assistance, food pantry & clothes closet assistance are available for NEISD families. Other resources like job training, housing, school supplies, etc. are also available.
You may also request a meeting with the Family Engagement Liaison for support with navigating the school system.
Please only submit one request.
Free and Reduced Lunch Application
NEISD Clothes Closet - NEISD Council of PTA
The NEISD Clothes Closet supports any NEISD student in need of clothing during the school year. The Clothes Closet is completely run by volunteers.
Volunteers are needed for Wednesdays when parents can shop for their students. Additional volunteer opportunities are available one Saturday each month, as well as wash days (Wash days are closed to public shoppers).
Volunteers are not restricted to assigned PTA shifts. Feel free to come back by filling any open shift.
