Lenten Prayer – The Prodigal Son
Loving God, during this season of Lent, we come to You with open hearts.
Like the prodigal son, we sometimes make mistakes, but You always welcome us back with love and kindness.
Help us to say sorry when we need to, to forgive others, and to make good choices.
Teach us to be kind, patient, and to trust in Your love.
May this time of Lent bring us closer to You and help us to live with love and joy.
Amen.

Dear OLOM Families,
🌿 Lenten Reflection – The Prodigal Son
As we journey through Lent, we reflect on the Gospel reading from the Fourth Sunday of Lent – The Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32). This powerful parable reminds us of God's endless mercy and love. Just as the father in the story welcomes back his lost son with open arms, we are reminded to show compassion, forgiveness, and kindness in our daily lives. May this season be a time of reflection, renewal, and reconnection with our faith.
🧡 Harmony Day – Friday 21 March
What a wonderful celebration of culture and community! It was heartwarming to see so many smiling faces dressed in orange, symbolising inclusivity and respect. Our school is incredibly blessed with diverse traditions, and Harmony Day was a true reflection of the beauty in our differences. A special thank you to Miss Agnello and the school choir for their stunning performance at the Harmony Week event—you sang beautifully and made us all proud!
📸 School Photo Shoot – Wednesday 2 April
A professional photographer will be on-site to capture images of our school for media and marketing purposes. Selected students from various classes will take part, and the photographer will prioritise those in full school uniform. If you do not wish for your child to be photographed, please inform your class teacher as soon as possible.
👩🏫 Parent-Teacher Interviews
A big thank you to those who have already booked and attended meetings! Parent-teacher interviews will continue in Weeks 9 and 10. Please check Seesaw for instructions on how to book your meeting. This replaces the interim report, so it is an important opportunity to discuss your child’s progress, ask questions, and hear how they are going in class.
📝 Kindy 2026 Enrolments – Now Open!
We are now enrolling for Kindy 2026! If you have a child ready for Kindy in 2026, please come in and complete an enrolment form. Also, spread the word—OLOM is a wonderful school, and we’d love for you to invite your friends to join us for a school tour. If you'd like, you can even come along on the tour with them!
Thank you for your continued support in making our school a welcoming, vibrant, and faith-filled community.
💙 Take care, and God bless.
Luke Sirolli
