A Message from the Principal
Our Color Run is 2 weeks from today and we are so excited for a fun-filled day! The Color Run Fundraiser is run by PTA and the school to help raise funds for events and materials we would not normally be able to have. These include things such as Dinosaur George, Family Reading Night, the Holiday parties, equipment for the playground, books for the teacher's classroom libraries, and rewards for students who are showing good behavior. Please consider supporting this good cause.
The run will be held in the back parking lot. We hope you will be able to join us, even if just for a few minutes, during your child's specials time (listed below). Parking for the event will be in the front lot and along the curb of the drive that runs behind our school and out to Louisiana, with the exception of 3rd grade parents who will need to park in the front ONLY so we don't disrupt Moore's arrival procedures.
3rd: 8:35
2nd: 9:25
5th: 10:20
4th: 11:10

Kona Ice will be at the Color Run. I will send out the link to order an ice for you child when I receive the link. As always, if you are able to sponsor additional children, we would be thankful.

Challenge Week #2
This week, we have several challenges going on in conjunction with our Color Run Fundraiser.
Any student that has any donation made in their name over the weekend will get a prize on Monday!
The grade level that raises the most money for the week will get to watch cartoons at lunch!
The class with the highest donation amount each day will get to pick a class reward.
May the odds be ever in your favor!
Congrats 2nd grade on the highest attendance this week! Our goal is 98%!
Cell Phones and Other Electronic Devices
In accordance with the Student Handbook, all personal electronic devices must be turned off during the instructional day. This includes cell phones and smart watches. The policy can be found in the Student Handbook starting on page 54.

Tuesday, September 10, is our first day for lunch visitors. A few things to remember:
- Check-in at the front office and obtain a visitor sticker. Wear the sticker during. your visit.
- Please sit at the designated visitor tables with your child. The courtyard tables can also be used.
- Students are not allowed to invite friends to sit at the visitor table.
- Parents may bring lunch for their child only. The sharing of food with other students is prohibited.
- Taking pictures or video of other students is prohibited.
- When students begin to clean up, it's time for your student to return to their table and for parents to be on their way. Please return directly to the office to turn in your badge before leaving. Parents should not walk their child back to class.
Free and Reduced Lunch Status
