Per our family handbook:
Only store-bought cupcakes or other snacks in sealed packages are permitted to be distributed in school. Due to student/staff allergies, please keep in mind that ESA is a nut free, latex free, and seafood free environment. The items mentioned are NEVER permitted in the school building. For health reasons, please consider an alternative to food-based celebrations.
Chromebook Device Policy
We need your help!
-Scholars are beginning to run low on some of their supplies. Please see the beginning of the year supply list below:
Grades K- 2
2 packs of pencils
4 glue sticks
1 pack of crayons
Clorox wipes
2 folders (preferably plastic/poly)
1 backpack
2 boxes of tissues
1 4-pack of expo dry erase markers
1 bottle of hand sanitizer
1 pair of headphones (to be stored at school)
1 pair of children’s scissors
1 box of gallon sized Ziplock bags
1 box of sandwich sized Ziplock bags
Grades 3-5
2 packs of pencils
4 glue sticks
1 12 inch ruler
1 pack of colored pencils
1 pack of markers
1 pencil case
Clorox wipes
5 folders (preferably plastic/poly)
4 composition books
1 backpack
2 boxes of tissues

- If you have any uniform pieces that your scholar has outgrown, please consider donating them to our nurse's office. We are especially in need of pants sizes 5 - 12.

ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL
ARRIVAL:
-Bus and Van Students enter the school through the back gate and door off of 15th Street.
-Car Riders are dropped off on Esrey Street going west (facing Nazz’s Pizza). In order to ensure the safety of all students and to be considerate of our Palmer House neighbors, cars can only travel west on Esry St. Please DO NOT cross or allow your child to cross the street. We want to ensure safety for all!
Staff will be outside to greet and assist students. Please have students exit through the right side of the car only. The playground gate on Esrey Street will open at 8:35 am for Car Riders.
DISMISSAL:
-At 3:40 pm Walkers will be released from the back door
-At 3:40 Car Line Dismissal and Walk Up/Parent Pick Up dismissal will begin. Car Line Students will exit through the back gate to Esrey Street going west only (facing Nazz’s Pizza). Staff members will assist students to their cars. Please remain in your car.
-ESA’s parking lot will be closed daily from 8:25 am - 9:30 am and from 2:25 pm - 4:00 pm
**There are no early dismissals between 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm
**Students’ modes of dismissal cannot be changed after 2:30 pm
Parent Caregiver Association Updates:
Keep an eye out for information around November's meeting. Day and Time to be announced.

PARENT MEETINGS
-we are unable to hold parent meetings until after 9:30 am. Everyone on our team is involved in student arrival and our number one priority is student safety. Please call the front office to schedule a meeting so we can ensure to address any questions or concerns.
SCHOOL HOURS
-Our school hours are 8:45 am - 3:45 pm
-The doors open at 8:40 am for students
-Breakfast is served daily within the classrooms until 9:00 am
-Students are considered late by 9:00 am. Please walk your student into the building if they are late. We want to ensure student safety.
