Attendance and Sick Notes/Excuses
We understand that appointments are necessary and illnesses and emergencies occur. When a student misses school due to a medical/dental appointment or suffers an illness and the student is seen by a doctor, we ask that parents obtain and submit a note from the doctor's office to excuse the absence.
When a student is ill but is not seen by a doctor, we ask that a handwritten, signed note be sent to school with the student the day they return. We cannot accept emails as a form of excuse. Excuses must be accompanied by a handwritten signature.
