Superintendent Dr. Shari Camhi shared the following positive news:

• Baldwin UFSD received two Champions of Change Awards from the New York State School Boards Association: one for the Wellness Center at the Middle School and the other for the Baldwin Shark Tank at Brookside Elementary School.
  
  
• The Boys Track Team at Baldwin High School was crowned the 2024 Nassau County Champions, and Tristan Brown, Class of 2024, was awarded the New York State Division I title for the 110-meter hurdles.
  
  
• Coach Michael Higgins was honored as Coach of the Year for Track and Field, while Coach Rebecca Laflare was recognized as Coach of the Year for Conference III Girls Lacrosse.
  
  
• Ms. Erin Beirne, a guidance counselor at Baldwin High School, was named the 2024 Counselor of the Year by the Nassau Counselors’ Association (NCA).
  
  
• Dr. Camhi also proudly announced a graduation rate of 99% for the June 2024 class.

ELECTION OF PRESIDENT 2024-2025

The BOARD OF EDUCATION accepted the nomination and appointment of Mary Jo O'Hagan as President of the Board of Education for the 2024-2025 school year.

ELECTION OF VICE PRESIDENT 2024-2025

The BOARD OF EDUCATION accepted the nomination and appointment of Pamela Green as Vice President of the Board of Education for the 2024-2025 school year.

The BOARD OF EDUCATION had a second read and adopted the following policies:
