END OF YEAR EXAM BELL SCHEDULE
THE CASE OF SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS
Sixth grade students worked hard seeking justice in the murder of Eugene H. Krabs of Bikini Bottom. The defendant, Spongebob Squarepants, was represented by able teams of defense lawyers, while prosecution teams worked to establish his guilt. Student lawyers examined eyewitness testimony, crime scene evidence, and suspect evidence. Mrs. England and Mrs. Strohsahl presided over the courtrooms, evaluated the cases presented and determined whether Mr. Squarepants was guilty or not guilty.

LEARNING TO SERVE
Mrs. Haney's students had the opportunity to go and tour Buckner Children and Family Services. They learned about all the areas Buckner serves in our community and throughout the world, made a shaker manipulative for special needs kids, toured the housing facility, and wrote letters to put inside shoes that will be collected and distributed this summer.
Overall, it was a great day to spend time learning about a nonprofit doing so much good here in our town and around the world.
MATH/SCIENCE PLACES 1ST AT STATE
Math/Science received 1st place overall at state in San Antonio!!! We had 35 kids compete with a lot of individual awards as well as team awards. Each team event got 1st place (number sense, calculator, math and science). They traveled to San Antonio to compete and spend time together as a team.
A special "Thank You" to Janna Graham and Sarah Smalley for leading our teams!
We would also like to thank our sponsors: Buffco, Thomas Oilfield Services, Mrs Bairds and Botanical Wholesale Floral and all the parents who support as well!
TAEA ART COMPETITION WINNERS
Students Clara Leyva And Olivia Hopkins competed in the TAEA region 7 JR Vase at Moore Middle School in Tyler. They both scored 4's which would have qualified them for state if they had been in HS.
