Hello Talahi Families,
Can you believe we are already in October? Our classrooms are off and running with exciting curriculum and instruction. October is a great month for learning and growth as students know procedures now and teachers are presenting more challenging lessons. Please watch for your children to be a bit more tired as the classroom rigor increases this month. Be sure to reach out to your child's teacher with any questions or concerns.
We hope you all can join us for some exciting events coming up. The Fall Festival for Lincoln and Talahi families is next week at Lincoln on 10/10 from 4 to 6pm, and Talahi is presenting a screening of the documentary Right to Read on 10/22 from 5:30-7:30. Both of these events are a great way to connect with Talahi staff and support your child's connection to our school.
Thanks for all you do!
Sincerely,
Mr. Court and Mr. Burks
Sam Court, Principal
Carl Burks, Assistant Principal

Elementary Student and Family Handbook
Families,
Please review the handbook linked below. One large change that we are making to the handbook this year is the language below. We will not be allowing deliveries to the classroom for special occasions and birthdays. Please reach out for any questions.
DELIVERIES TO STUDENTS
Gifts, flowers, balloons and food (including birthday food items) from families and/or delivery services will not be allowed during the school day for safety reasons and due to the allergies of individuals.
