Tigers, now that we are in a digital learning platform from home, your routine has changed dramatically. We want to give you some tips to help stay focused in this new setting due to the numerous distractions around you: television, social media, the fridge, your bed, etc.... It can be very overwhelming when you have 7 classes and 7 teachers pulling you in all directions to get their assignments done.
Step 1- Create a daily routine (wake up, breakfast, exercise, classwork, snack, chores, etc...)
Step 2- Prioritize your assignments
- First- Quick and easy assignments (this gives you a sense of accomplishment and drive to get more done)
- Second- Urgent assignments (past due assignments or due now)
- Third- important assignments (due date approaching fast)
Creating a list and writing down the assignments in these 3 categories will help you sort out your workload so you do not get stressed and frustrated. Check assignments off as you finish them and feel the stress lift little by little.
