THE BAPTISM OF OUR LORD
WELCOME BACK!!
It wasn't the normal return, but I appreciate everyone's patience and understanding. Of course, this probably won't be the last time for snow days this season. If there is anything you need, never hesitate to reach out!
A thank you to Mr. Proffit for spreading some extra salt!
E-LEARNING PLAN FOR UPCOMING CANCELLATIONS 🏂
Dear Families,
With the snow upon us early this winter season, I would like to inform you of our intent with possible future school cancellations and our e-learning.
This entire process will follow one simple rule: keep it simple.
Therefore, please note the following:
1. Our next snow day, and any days thereafter, will be e-learning days. Teachers will communicate (if possible) their plans for the anticipated days. STUDENTS WILL NEED TO TAKE THEIR CHROMEBOOKS HOME WITH THEM. (MIDDLE SCHOOL)
2. Every teacher will assign one activity, assignment, or task per subject.
3. Any assignments will be due the 2nd day of returning to school (to answer any questions).
4. Teachers will be available from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM to answer any questions via email. (We will not do Zoom). Teachers will periodically check emails in the evening if any other questions arise.
Teachers do have the ability to make small variations. They will communicate those changes to you.
The reason for this e-learning initiative is two-fold: it keeps children academically on-task during snow days and it will allow us to have students out of school for this summer before Memorial Day.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Mr. Keefe
