September 11th was a National Day of Service, and as a school, we honored our country for how we came together as a community & encouraged our students to keep alive the spirit of unity and service that arose in the immediate aftermath of the September 11th attacks.
Our school ceremony was powerful, as we read poems together and sang the national anthem as our Safety patrol leaders raised the flag. Thank you to fifth grade leaders for raising the flag and to sixth grade students for reading selected poetry. We appreciate all who wore their red, white and blue.
