January Service Learning Project
Our Pine Road School community has the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. During the month of January, we will collect personal hygiene items for Face to Face in Germantown.
βAt Face to Face struggling families, individuals and the homeless are welcomed and treated with dignity and respect. Our goal is to meet basic human needs and reduce suffering; thereby assisting our guests to a better future. Face to Face serves 2,500 annually and has been a stable presence in Germantown for over 20 years.β β Face to Face
Access to basic personal supplies can give these individuals a greater sense of self and a brighter
outlook on life. Listed below are the items we will collect through January 17th. There is a suggested list per grade level to ensure a more even collection of items, however all donations will be accepted.
Kindergarten: soap, shampoo, toothbrush
First Grade: washcloth/hand towel, deodorant, tissues, toothpaste
Second Grade: comb, brush, antibacterial hand wipes
Third Grade: hand sanitizers, small cans of shaving cream, lip balm, hand lotion
All items will be sorted at the MLK Day of Service. Thank you for your consideration in donating!
