Dr. Jonathan C. Smith, Pastor of Administrative Operations
With great joy and thanksgiving, I come before you today to declare the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living. The Lord continues to shower the Mount Moriah Church with His undue faithfulness. The year 2024 has been a year to remember in the life of our church. Construction continued, and now we have a good portion of the fellowship hall classroom spaces framed and nearly walled in. Framing for the sanctuary is substantially underway. And so, as we move into 2025, we’re asking every member to do two things:
1. Continue to pray for the project
2. Help us pay for the project. In 2025, we are asking every member to give at least an additional $25 above their regular giving each month. That totals an additional $300 from every member for the year 2025.
One in Prayer - January
Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways. Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the Lord.
Haggai 1:7-8.
The ministerial staff would like to thank you for continuing to engage in our One In Prayer
Project. We have experienced tremendous growth in ministry endeavors and evangelistic efforts.
To God be the glory!
As we begin the New Year, our January focus is essential to the work God has called us to perform here at Mt. Moriah. We are asking each member to pray for the Lord Build the House (LBTH) campaign. Believing in the all sufficiency of Jesus Christ, pray daily at 1:00 p.m. that all of the efforts toward this campaign be pleasing in God’s sight and that ultimately God will provide a facility that He would be glorified and His people edified.
Ways to Give
Giving
We prayerfully ask that you continue giving your tithes and offering through one of the following methods:
1. Zelle through On-line Banking or Zelle App
Use Recipient - Mountmoriahdallas1@gmail.com
2. Tithe.ly App
The Tithe.ly can be accessed online and may also be used on Android or Apple devices by downloading the app. While the church will incur small fees for the transactional use of Tithe.ly, Tithe.ly does provide you the option to ‘cover fees’ for the transaction on behalf of the church, if you choose to do so. The church incurs less fees when you choose Bank Account ACH payment, however Tithe.ly gives you the option of using your debit card, Apple Pay, Android Pay, or Microsoft Pay. You can also set up recurring giving through Tithe.ly as well.
3. Mail
You are welcomed to mail your contributions or have your bank mail your contributions to:
