A Message from Superintendent Murrieta
This week, the Arizona Department of Education released school letter grades based off of academic performance from the 23-24 school year. Stanfield Elementary School has worked hard and we are excited to share that we are continuing to make significant growth! We moved from 63.48 points in 22-23 to 71.47 points in 23-24. This is an impressive 8 point increase and has brought us to a very high "C" letter grade! In fact, we were only .53 away from a "B"! Our students, staff and Stanfield community have been working hard and we are committed to reaching our goal for the 24-25 school year. Our focus on academic achievement, increased attendance and engagement will remain strong.
We have many amazing opportunities coming up this month and we hope to see you on campus! Whether we see you at our Veteran's Day Flag Raising Ceremony, the Community Clean up and BBQ or the Thanksgiving Family Lunch we want you to know how much we value and appreciate your support. It truly takes a village to raise our children and we are thankful that you are a part of our Stanfield village! Working together, we can make a difference!
You will notice on this year's school calendar we have the whole week of Thankgsgiving off. We hope that you and your families are able to spend quality time together and that you also have the opportunity to be grateful, thank it foward and truly elevate your perspective--model that mindset of Attitude of Gratitude!
