2020 Arts & Education Giving
WSD Employee Giving Campaign - Give Today!
Good Morning
Today marks the end of this year's campaign!
Thank you to the 17 employees who have given towards the 2020 WSD Arts and Education Council Workplace Giving Campaign - currently we have raised $1,000 - but you know we can do better!
Last year, WSD employees generously contributed a total of $2,300 in the effort. This year our goal as a District is $3,000. No gift is too small and every gift makes a difference! If every employee would consider a one-time gift of just $2, we would easily exceed our goal.
We all can play a part in ensuring the future of the arts in the St. Louis area.
The arts promote personal well-being, help us understand other cultures in our community, and they are essential to a well-rounded education. Your gift to the Arts and Education Council provides the essential operating support the arts need to thrive and grow and has a tremendous impact on our community.
Every gift makes a difference. To put this in perspective, here is what A&E is able to accomplish with your donations:
For a gift of $50, you make it possible for six students to attend a classical music concert.
For a gift of $65, you improve accessibility to the arts for two people with visual impairments.
For a gift of $100, you foster the creativity of four aspiring photographers through workshops and lectures.
For a gift of $250, you help pay for transportation and lessons for a talented young artist.
Once again, you have the option to contribute throughout the year via a payroll deduction. Of course, you can always donate by check as well. Donations made by check can be mailed directly to the Arts and Education Council or returned to the Community Relations Department at the Administrative Center.
Thank you for your thoughtful consideration and support of the Arts and Education Council Annual Workplace Giving Campaign this year.
Sincerely,
Mary LaPak
