Updates & Reminders
PSAT 9 and PSAT/NMSQT Scores are now available.
CollegeBoard has posted score reports for our students who took the PSAT 9 or PSAT/NMSQT in October. Students can get their scores for all PSAT-related assessments by logging into Student Score Reports with the username and password they use for their College Board account.
All 9th-11th grade students can begin preparing for the SAT/PSAT that they will take on April 9, 2025. Below are a few ways for students to prepare:
- CollegeBoard Full-length Practice Tests: The Full-length practice tests in Bluebook™ are the most accurate way to measure your skills for the actual test. They introduce you to the Bluebook app, used for both practice and test day. Students can access Bluebook by signing out of their school-issued Chromebook, selecting APPS in the lower left corner, and selecting BLUEBOOK. You will need to sign in with your College Board username and password. After completion of a practice test, your practice scores will be available in your College Board Account under My Practice.
- Khan Academy Official Digital SAT Prep: Khan Academy is a free resource that allows students to gain access to thousands of practice questions, videos, lessons, helpful hints, and valuable test-taking tips and strategies. Every section of the digital SAT is expertly crafted by Khan Academy's team of math, reading, and writing experts. Students can access the Khan Academy SAT Prep using this link: khanacademy.org/digital-sat
Other Updates
Medical Needs: Please make your child's neighborhood office aware of any medical conditions or allergies (not already on file) that could possibly need attention at school. Health plans are confidential but provide staff with important information in the event of an emergency.
- Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) Opportunity: Historically, the ASVAB has been known as the Military Test. While the ASVAB is used to determine qualification for enlistment in the United States Armed Forces, it is an aptitude test that assesses a student’s areas of strength and ability in science, math, and language. The ASVAB helps predict success in a variety of careers in the trades, college, or military. Participation is voluntary. If your child takes the ASVAB, they have no obligation to the military. If you would like your child to take the ASVAB, WSH will be offering the test on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 8:00 am in the WSH LMC. To reserve your spot, complete this Google Form.
