Hello, Jaguar Family!
Before we depart for Thanksgiving break, I would like to take a moment to express gratitude to all of our stakeholders.
To our PTA, thank you for supporting our student programs and taking care of our staff. Your work enriches our instructional environment.
To our parents and family members, thank you for your unwavering support. Thank you for being active participants in the work that we do!
To our staff, thank you for the time and energy you put into providing engaging and meaningful learning opportunities for our students. You work long hours and your job is not easy, yet you demonstrate true commitment each and every day to our students.
To our students, thank you for being you. You make coming to work a fun and enjoyable experience. Seeing you thrive in and out of the classroom brings joy to our staff. Keep up the good work!
We hope everyone has a restful and enjoyable break. Please be reminded, campus and district offices will be closed November 25-29. Classes will resume on Monday, December 2, 2024.

Safety Drill Conducted This Week
The safety and well-being of our students and staff are our top priorities, and conducting regular drills is an essential part of our preparedness efforts. During the drills, students and staff practice the procedures that would be followed in the event of a real emergency.
This week our students and staff practiced an Evacuation Drill. This drill is used to practice safely evacuating the building in the event of a hazard inside the building (ex: fire).

A Message from Nurse Mina
Attention, 6th-grade Parents,
In order to enter the 7th grade, the state of Texas requires two vaccines; 1) TDaP and 2) MCV. The vaccines are usually given at a regular doctor's visit between 10 to 12 years of age. As your child receives those vaccines, please bring the immunization records to school. This way your child is ready next August. If you have any questions, please contact Nurse Mina at mina_shimomura@roundrockisd.org.

The Season of Giving is Upon Us:
Brown Santa Toy Drive: Nov. 4 - Dec. 6
Brown Santa donations: Monday, November 4th - Friday, December 6th
Starting November 4th, Cedar Valley will be hosting donation buckets for Brown Santa, a non-profit organization founded by the Travis County Sheriff's Office that brings holiday cheer to families in need. Every year, Brown Santa collects donations of toys and other essentials and distributes them to children and families who may not have the means to celebrate Christmas.
This season, let’s come together as a school community to make a difference! Here’s how you can help:
What to Donate: New children’s toys, stuffed animals, blankets, craft supplies, clothing, and other holiday essentials.
Where to Donate: Find the Brown Santa donation buckets placed in Jag Lobby
Other Ways to Help: Scan the QR code on the donation buckets to make a direct donation or browse Brown Santa's Amazon storefront to purchase items they need.
By giving a little, we can bring joy to families and make someone’s Christmas truly special. Let’s make this holiday season a brighter one for everyone—one donation at a time!
This toy drive project is a partnership between McNeil High School DECA and Travis County Sheriff's Office.
