Please call the East Office at 419-998-8002 or email erinr@limashawnee.com with any questions.
GRADUATION PRACTICE:
- May 24th, 9:00am-11:00am
- Seniors will meet at 8:30am in the practice soccer field parking lot off Zurmhely Road
- Seniors will ride buses over to Veteran's Memorial Civic and Convention Center
- You do not have to ride the bus, but parking at the Civic Center is very limited and some students have been issued parking tickets at rehearsal because they park in the wrong areas or are there for too long. It’s easiest to ride the bus. Look at it as likely the last time you may get to ride a school bus - it will be nostalgic.
- Graduation practice is MANDATORY if seniors want to participate in the graduation ceremony.
GRADUATION CEREMONY:
- May 26th, 2:00pm.
- Commencement ceremony at Veteran's Memorial Civic and Convention Center.
- Doors will open at 1:00pm for family and friends.
- Seniors will arrive by 1:15pm.
- Ceremony lasts about an hour.
- Mr. Owen will be there by noon for people who are looking to give tickets back or get more tickets
- We encourage students to dress up, even though they will have the gown over their clothes. It's suggested to wear a shirt and tie with nice pants & shoes, but not required.

Apollo Career Center
Apollo Career Center offers more than 20 career-technical programs that take two years to complete. The students have the opportunity to experience hands-on training and college prep academics to prepare students for their futures after high school. Students from eleven area districts attend Apollo , giving students the chance to meet new people, be exposed to a diverse population, and meet peers who share the same goals and interests. To be admitted to Apollo after their 10th grade year, students need a minimum of eight credits: two English credits, two Math credits, one Science credit, one Social Studies credit, and two additional credits (Health, Fine Art, etc.). Students can apply at any time with this application.
