Message from Principal Haugens
We are so excited for tomorrow and Field Day. Students will be outside for a majority of the day enjoying friendly games and lots of fun. Please be sure your child(ren) wear their Field Day shirts that they made during art class. It is also important that parents apply sunscreen at the beginning of the day. Before yoru student leaves for school, be sure they have a water bottle & perhaps extra lunch items to ensure they have enough to eat after a morning of playing outside. Field Day is from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm & 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. Students will have an hour for lunch from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm. Feel free to reach out to Mrs. Klassman if you are able to volunteer. We could always use more parent volunteers. Mrs. Klassman’s email is AKlassman@sd13.org.
On Monday, June 6, 2022, all students will enjoy a movie day for earning Accountability Paws and filling up the Accountability Jar during the month of May. Each grade level will determine the movie & time. This information will be communicated by classroom teachers. Students are allowed to bring in a “special” treat to enjoy while watching the movie with their classmates. Thanks to all students for being responsible for their thoughts, words, & actions.
Tuesday, June 7, 2022, is the last day of student attendance for the 2021-2022 school year. It is a regular day of student attendance. There will be an Awards Assembly for students that starts at 2:00 pm. Report Cards will be emailed to parents at the end of the school day. Please check backpacks for MAP progress reports. Students who will not be in attendance on the last school day can contact the office to schedule a time to pick-up items during the summer.

Message from Nurse Mills
This is a friendly reminder for parents of students with medication/supplies in the health office. According to the school district’s medication procedure, parent(s)/guardian(s) are responsible for picking up any unused medication by the end of the school year. The building nurse will discard unused medication not picked up by the student’s last day of school. Please plan on picking up your child’s medication as close to your student’s last day of school as possible. The Health Office will be closed after June 7, 2021. Feel free to call if you have any questions. Thank you very much for your assistance! You can also contact the school nurse by email:
