New Sectional Schedule This Week!
We will begin a new sectional schedule this week (starting February 24th) to accommodate our track, tennis, wrestling, and soccer students. We have done our best to work with almost 150 student schedules. We appreciate the support of our parents and coaching staff to help our students get to their weekly sectional.

RHB Jazz Concert this Wednesday!
Our Hays Jazz band will be performing with Rock Hill Jazz 1 and 2 on Wednesday, February 26th. This concert will begin at 7:00pm in the Rock Hill HS Auditorium. This concert is free and open to the public. We would love to have all of you join us!

TCU Jazz Festival this Saturday!
Our Hays Jazz band will be competing in the TCU Jazz Festival on Saturday, March 1st. We perform at 9:30am in the PespiCo Recital Hall on the TCU Campus. All are welcome to attend this performance!

Concert Band I UIL is Friday, March 7th
Concert Band I will be performing at the UIL Concert and Sight Reading Contest on Friday, March 7th at Reedy High School. Our call time will be 7:00am in the Hays Band Hall that day. See the letter linked below for a detailed timeline. We would love to see our parents in attendance for the concert!
Band Fundraiser ends March 7th!
Our band fundraiser will run from now until March 7th! This fundraiser will 100% go to supporting YOUR students. We are raising funds to pay for lesson scholarships, music, supplies, masterclasses, clinicians, transportation, and band socials.
At the end of the fundraiser, the 3 students who raise the most money will get to "pie a director of their choice in the face!" Each student will receive a personal link that you will also be able to share on your social media page or send out to friends, family or co-workers. We thank you for your continued support of the Hays Band and your students music education.
We are asking you to assist your child by obtaining permission for and gathering 20 emails and/or phone numbers of people closest to him/her who may be potential donors. Go to the following link below and use following instructions to register by Sunday, February 9th.

Team-select the correct section from the drop down menu
Enter your emails and phone numbers in the box below –make sure that you only enter emails and phone numbers. Delete any spaces or commas in the middle of the phone number and don't upload the person's name. Separate each phone number/email with either a comma or hit return. (I usually hit return.)
Once you have double checked for typos, hit submit. You will be given a member code: KEEP THIS! Take a screen shot of this to save.
