February 14th, 2025 💗
Dear Canton Families,
Happy Valentine’s Day! We hope your day is filled with joy, kindness, and a little bit of chocolate. We appreciate the love and support you show our school community every day.
Please note that there will be no school on Monday, February 17th, in observance of President’s Day. We hope you enjoy the long weekend and have some time to relax and recharge.
We are also excited to share that our Talent Show is coming up on Thursday, February 27th! Auditions took place this past Thursday, and we were blown away by the creativity and skill of our students. We have a lot of very cool acts lined up, and we can’t wait to see them take the stage. Be sure to mark your calendars for this fun and entertaining event!
Additionally, the end of the 3rd quarter will be upon us quickly. Please be sure to keep up with grades, summatives, and formatives to ensure a strong finish to the quarter.
With PRIDE,
Principal Rudden

School Safety Measures
School Safety Measures
As part of our commitment to ensuring a safe learning environment, Canton will be conducting random, non-invasive searches throughout the school year in accordance with board policy and law. These searches are a proactive step towards maintaining safety and fostering an environment where learning can thrive without disruptions. They will be carried out by trained school personnel, in a manner that respects the privacy of all students. We assure you that these measures are standard safety procedures and not in response to any specific incident or concern. If a student refuses to participate in the random search, the school administration will follow the necessary steps in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct. Should you have any questions, please contact the school's main office.
