Dear Parents,

We are excited to announce an enriching opportunity for our students and community. This year, we have the privilege of hosting a group of French students from l’institut Emmanuel d’Alzon [Nîmes, France]. This exchange program aims to foster cultural understanding, language skills, and lifelong friendships.

We are seeking families who are willing to open their homes and hearts to these students for a period of 1 week between March 3rd and March 10th, 2025. Hosting a student provides a unique chance for your family to learn about French culture firsthand, share your own traditions, and create lasting memories. No French knowledge is required.

Benefits of Hosting:

1. Cultural Exchange: Your family will gain a deeper understanding of French customs, cuisine, and daily life and in return, you will be able to share your own traditions.
2. Friendship: Hosting can lead to lifelong friendships and even future travel opportunities.
3. Educational Growth: Your children will develop empathy, global awareness, and a broader perspective on the world.

Responsibilities of Host Families:

· Provide a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment.

· Offer meals and a comfortable place to sleep.

· Include the student in family activities and daily routines.

· Assist with transportation to and from school and program activities.

To provide more information and answer any questions you may have, we will be holding an information session on December 16th at 6:30 pm at the school in room 105. We encourage all interested families to attend.

We understand that hosting a student is a significant commitment, and we are here to support you every step of the way. We will provide orientation, resources, and be available to answer any questions you may have.
