Message from Our Presenters
Caregiving is a deeply fulfilling yet demanding responsibility, often requiring long hours of physical and emotional commitment. While caregivers devote themselves to the well-being of their loved ones, it is equally important to prioritize their own health and mental well-being. Without proper self-care, stress can accumulate, leading to burnout, fatigue, and emotional exhaustion.
The interactive workshop, hosted by Shweta Gupta and Bidisha Rudra from Senior Helpers of Frisco, is designed to equip caregivers with practical tools to manage stress, set healthy boundaries, and incorporate self-care into their daily routines. Additionally, they will share essential tips and advice on home care to help you provide the best possible support for your loved ones.
Join us for this engaging and empowering session to learn how small but meaningful changes can enhance both your caregiving journey and personal resilience. Because taking care of yourself is just as important as taking care of others!

Avoiding and Reporting Scams
Our loved ones might be vulnerable to scams and we, as caregivers, have to both be vigilant and mitigate the loss if something happens. The Federal Trade Commission's web page devoted to scams informs consumers about 1) how to avoid scams, 2) steps to take if you are scammed, and 3) how/where to report the scam. It also illustrates some of the newest scams to be aware of.
