It has been already been a busy yet productive 2023!! Parent/Teacher Conferences are here already! Please make sure you sign up for a day and time or make arrangements with your child's classroom teacher if neither of those work for you.

As a school we have really been focusing on Stewardship the last couple of weeks. Making sure we are good stewards in the lunch room, in our classroom, in the hallways and hopefully also at home and in our community. Learners are making sure they do their part to clean up after themselves and even help if others forget to clean up or need help.

On Tuesday, February 7th we had our 2nd quarter Community Crew. Our classroom teachers spoke about some of their learners who have shown exceptional CRISP traits throughout the quarter. I am so proud of all our learners here at Maple Grove Charter as I watch our "CRISP WALL" fill up in our hallway with all the Fox Tales! Great job Foxes!

We are accepting applications for the 2023-2024 school year! This is for leaners currently not attending MGCS! Please call the main office 715-257-2199 for questions or to set up a tour! We are always excited to welcome new students and families into our educational family.

Thank you for making this such a successful fundraiser! We raised $3,114 in profit for Maple Grove Charter School! This money will be put towards our Naturescape playground. A huge SHOUT OUT to our AMAZING families and community for supporting us!

We celebrated our December reading incentive on January 24th. Each learner got to choose a classroom that was playing a movie of their interest. We had 6 classrooms of options and a popcorn snack for each student! Please encourage and help our learners reach their monthly reading goals!

All grades will be took their midyear screeners the week of January 18th. This is a screener we take 3 times a year in reading and math to monitor progress and determine where we need to best support our learners. You will receive the results at our parent/teacher conferences. Thank you for your continued support at home with your child's education!

Our Open House/Family Night will be Wednesday, March 9, 5:00-7:00 at Maple Grove. We will have a campfire on the upper playground with SMORES, soup and breadsticks from Olive Garden and an inverted art show in the gym. Staff will be on hand to give tours and answer any questions. We are looking to welcome ALL who would like to join us on this fun night. We are also looking for new families to come check out our fantastic school! Please spread the word! Open enrollment runs from February 6 - April 28. Please encourage new families or families with new kindergarteners to fill out our Maple Grove Charter School application! This will also be included on our future flyers. You do not need to fill out the application if your child currently attends Maple Grove.

Our Fired Up To Read program is now in full swing! Learners from every grade will get a chance to read or be read to by local (Hamburg & Corning) volunteer firefighters! Our students enjoy seeing our guests every Wednesday morning from 8:00-9:00. Thanks again for the extended community involvement and to the volunteers for making this program happen!

We had so much fun celebrating the 100th day of School on Feb. 13th! Staff and even some kids dressed up like they were 100 years old! Classrooms had fun activities planned and our 4th graders even wrote about what their life would be like if they live to 100!

Thank you to all our families who have offered their support with this project from the donation of materials to their time of cutting the different pieces and pre-drilling holes. We are still in need of some assistance for help with assembly the day of. Please see the links below to sign up.
