Principal's Message
Hello Dolvin families,
A huge thank you to everyone who is supporting our Staff Appreciation Week! In my opinion, our staff deserves to be appreciated every day of the year, but next week is a special week that we get to show our staff how much they loved and appreciated.
We currently have a low participation level in the Georgia School Climate survey at 20%. If you haven’t gotten a chance to fill out the survey yet, you can do so with this link: https://survey.gadoe.org/FM?sid=A4E90C88. The survey is very quick to take and will help us determine areas of strength and needs for improvement.
Thank you,
Andy Stein
Media Center Update
We are thrilled to announce that our Media Center will undergo a major renovation this summer! To prepare for this exciting transformation, all books are due by March 28th. Please also note that book checkout will be closed for the rest of the year to ensure all books are returned and packed up in shelf order.
The new Media Cener will be more than just a library! It will also be a vibrant collaboration hub for students, a Makerspace area where students can be creative, and a technology hub that drives student learning and practice of 21st century digital skills.

Shout Outs!
Shout to Ethan Sanborn! He and his dad, David, will be appearing on the upcoming episode of Shark Tank, Friday, March 7th. The episode will appear on ABC at 8pm. They will be seen pitching his company, Kiid Coffee. Ethan worked very hard to get ready for the actual show (they filmed last September). He is incredibly excited for the airing because it's a very secretive process, and only about 60% of the people that film ever make it on TV.
Dolvin Chess Team
We have a very strong group of students who participate in Kid Chess here at Dolvin and the results are showing!
At the recent GCA Team Championship, the Dolvin chess team came in 6th place in the state for the K-5 group! Impressively, everyone took a 1st round Win, giving Dolvin a good lead. Let’s congratulate the following students:
Jeremy X.
Milo S.
Ocean H.
Aryan K.
Mohan I.
Sagar B.
Maxwell X.
Well done!
