Student Homework
Eagle Parents,
Please know it i a school expectation for all students must complete homework each night. You may review this requirement in our Policies and Procedures Manual on our school's webpage (see the excerpt below). This requirement not only prepares students to engage in the high academic rigor and standards of the curriculum but it also allows teachers to do monitor independent learning and for parents to observe and notice what your child(ren) understands. It is imperative for students to complete the homework at home with you.
Middle School students are required to complete homework as well. It is not reflected in this version of the Policies and Procedures Manual. However the recommended time s are as follows:
As always, thank you for choosing to partner with us here at Eagle Academy Charter. We continue to soar in our educational efforts to "encourage[s] academic excellence by integrating proven instructional methods with a challenging curriculum and high expectations. This combination provides every child with the foundation needed to achieve proficiency of Eagle Academy’s performance standards at each instructional level."
Academic Practice
EACS Families,
Did you know we have a way for you and your child(ren) to get more practice with Spalding phonograms on our website. Just visit https://www.asdk12.org/eagleacademycharter. Once there, choose "Families" then "Phonograms". There are videos made by our very own Mrs. Timberlake. Remember, this is a team effort to get our students the help they need to be successful in our wonderful school.

“Dress to Impress” Spirit Day: This Friday, November 15th
Students "Dress to Impress" Spirit Day is a fun event where students dress up in their best, most stylish attire to show school spirit! Here are a few ideas for students to look sharp and make the day fun:
Formal Wear: dress in business or semi-formal outfits, like button-up shirts, blouses, dresses, slacks, or even ties and blazers if they want to go all out.
Fashion Statement: showcase their personal style with fashionable but school-appropriate attire that makes them feel confident and unique.
Accessorize: Accessories like watches, belts, or elegant scarves can really complete the look and add a bit of flair.
