January 13:

Mandatory Senior Graduation Meeting (during resource 7:15-7:44 a.m. in the auditorium)
CREW Coffee House Study Session for Freshmen (3:00-5:00 p.m. in the High School Library)

January 15: Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for seniors and their families (6:00 p.m. in the East Cafeteria)

January 15-17: Semester 1 Exams (see below for more details)

January 17: End of Semester 1

January 20: No School for Students | Staff Professional Day

January 22: Gearing Up for High School (for incoming freshmen and new to WBHS students in the 2025-26 school year)

January 23:

Course Selection Opens for 2025-26 School Year (7:00 a.m. - see below for details)
Winter Band Concert (7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Auditorium)

January 27: Junior Class Meeting (7:15-7:44 a.m. in the Auditorium)

January 30: Sophomore Class Meeting (7:15-7:44 a.m. in the Auditorium)

January 31: Freshman Class Meeting (7:15-7:44 a.m. in the Auditorium)

Reminders & Updates

Expanded Release Passes - Semester 2

In the November 2024 Family & Student newsletters, we shared an update regarding the WBSD Way Expanded Release Pass program for Semester 2. Students who have met all of the requirements for expanded release for the semester prior will be granted “early” WBSD Way Expanded Release Passes for the upcoming semester. This means that students who maintained eligibility for Semester 1 will be able to apply early for the second semester and avoid waiting the 2-week waiting period to get their passes. Students may pick up paper copies of the Expanded Release Form for Semester 2 in the Attendance Office beginning Wednesday, January 8.

Semester 1 Exam Reminders

Students have until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 9, to submit their exam exemption forms AND to complete the sign-up for study/enrichment sessions. Exam Exemption Forms can be picked up in the Attendance Office (Room 1415) or the Main Office (Room 1408). Students can click here to complete the Exam Study Session Google Form. (This form must be filled out from the student’s google account).

Parents wishing to excuse their child from any of the study sessions or a period where they do not have a scheduled exam (i.e. a study hall or off hour), may do so by completing the Semester 1 Exam Absence Reporting Form or calling the Attendance Office at (262)335-5550.

Please refer to the January 2 Family Newsletter for detailed information about Semester 1 Exams, including attendance expectations, busing, lunches, etc.

Senior Photo Information - FINAL REMINDER

Senior Photos are due by this Friday, January 10, 2025. Please review these directions and guidelines for submitting your photo.

New this year, senior photos will be submitted directly to Jostens (our yearbook company). Here are the links to submit your photo:

Resume Writing Workshops

Resume writing workshops will be held in the Career Readiness Center starting after winter break. The following dates and times have been scheduled:

January 28 from 7:15 - 7:45 a.m.
February 6 during all lunch periods
February 21 from 7:15 - 7:45 a.m.

Students should register on the CRC Events Page if they plan to attend.
