GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
New: Eastview Conferences
This is a reminder that we have an opportunity for parents/guardians to connect with teachers for individual conferences on Thursday, March 7th (5:30pm - 8:30pm) and/or Friday, March 8th (7:30am - 9:30am). See below for more info on what to expect during Conferences.
We will be hosting our Q3/spring conferences next week on Thursday, March 7 and Friday, March 8. In an effort to allow parents/guardians multiple options to connect with teachers, we will be offering two different ways for you to conference with your student's teachers:
- Thursday, March 7 from 5:30pm - 8:30pm
- In-person, drop-in conferences
- No appointments are necessary
- Friday, March 8 from 7:30am - 9:30am
- Scheduled Zoom conferences only (no in-person, drop-in conferences)
- Click here to use PTCFast to pre-schedule appointments
- Select the teachers you'd like to conference with when you register
- An email will be sent to you allowing you to coordinate Zoom conference times
- A confirmation email will be sent with each teacher's Zoom link all in one email
Both options allow for you to select which teachers you wish to visit with. Conferences with each teacher are limited to approximately five minutes to allow teachers to connect with all parents/guardians in attendance. If a longer conversation or conference is needed, we ask you to schedule that with the teacher for another time.
*Language interpretation services will be available upon request. All of our teachers have access to live remote video interpretation for over 300 languages. Stop at the table by the west entrance for more information.
*Free childcare for younger children will be available on Thursday evening so that you may attend and engage without needing to find or provide care to younger children. No pre-registration is necessary - childcare will be in room C139 starting at 5:30pm on Thursday, March 7.

Eastview WIN Time on Wednesday Afternoons in the Learning Commons
Students can benefit from an opportunity for academic support every Wednesday afternoon from 2:40pm – 4:15pm in the Learning Commons. Students are supported to complete their schoolwork learning in a supervised setting. Faculty and staff are available along with upper-class peer tutors (especially skilled in Mathematics). Students will identify their priorities (“What I Need” or “What’s Important Now”), create a plan for the most efficient use of their time, celebrate their accomplishments, and leave with a plan for continued success. Students do not need to sign up in advance for WIN Time. We do ask that students plan to be there for the start at 2:40pm so they can benefit from the full support. We will keep a log of students and their engagement (arrival/departure time and their focus/work while they are there). For students needing transportation home, activity buses will be available departing at 4:45pm.

New: Post High School Planning Kicks Off For Juniors
Last week marked an exciting milestone for our juniors as they began exploring their post-high school options. Our counseling team met with small groups of juniors to initiate the planning process for life after graduation.
During these small group sessions, counselors covered a wide range of topics to help juniors navigate the upcoming journey. From understanding college admissions requirements to exploring alternative paths like vocational training or military service, our students gained valuable insights.
To revisit the informative presentation slides, click on the links below:
Slide Deck 1: Ms. Jennings - Class of 2025 Spring Post High School Planning Presentation
Slide Deck 2: Class of 2025: Spring Post High School Planning Presentation Slides
We encourage both students and parents to review these materials and reach out to our Counseling Office with any questions. Together, we'll ensure our juniors are well-prepared to take their next exciting steps after high school.
