PACK Guardians and Students,

We hope you had a wonderful time at the very first Hot Dog Supper in the new building! It was a wonderful turnout and we are ready to take next year to a new level! We have one more week of instruction before spring break, so please help us by stressing to your students that the finish line is Friday at 3:45pm, thanks!

Boys Soccer tryouts - Many student have asked about soccer tryouts. Here is the information for the boys:

Dates: March 11th, 13th, and 14th
Location: Legacy High School
What to Bring: Cleats, shin guards, and athletic shoes.

Students will meet in the gym at 3:45 PM on Tuesday, March 11th, and then proceed to the field together. Please note that all student-athletes must have a current physical examination on file if they have not participated in any sports at Hubbard. We kindly ask for your assistance in helping your children create a Rank One account. If you have any questions, please feel free to email Coach Laurent at Gabi.Laurent@tylerisd.org.

Free athletic physicals - Mark your calendar! The Tyler ISD Free Physical day will be Friday May 9th. We will bus athletes to and from the venue. This is needed for 2025-2026 7th graders and Freshmen.

TRAFFIC - We have had ongoing struggles with traffic at Hubbard and are working to fix it. How can you help?

- First, please obey all normal traffic laws. This means that on Hubbard Drive (south of campus), be patient and stay in the traffic flow lane. Do not create a third lane and drive into oncoming traffic. It is a two lane road.

- Second, the outside lane in front of the school needs to remain clear, it is a fire lane and is not for parking or waiting for your student. Please use the inside two lanes for that.

- Third, when pulling through the front of the building, it is a one way road at the end going to the right. Please do not take a left and go against traffic to pull out onto Copeland. I know it is a pain, but it helps traffic flow, prevents wrecks, and helps keep students safe.

Are you a dad with a sharp knife?!?

What is the worst sound on the planet? If you answered hearing these stools slide along a concrete floor, you are correct! We are looking for any dads with a sharp knife who are willing to donate some time cutting x's in tennis balls so we can fit them over our science lab stools! Come by the campus and help out plllllllease!

This week students had a STEM day where they did various challenges in their math classes. It was great to see them collaborating as a PACK to attach a problem and collaborate on a solution!
