Dear Monomoy Middle School Families,
We are thrilled to share some exciting news from our amazing 5th-grade students who have been immersing themselves in the world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Over the past few weeks, they have been engaged in a hands-on project that not only showcases their creativity and problem-solving skills but also provides them with a valuable real-world experience. Our budding young engineers have taken on the challenge of designing, building, and selling birdhouses! This project has given our students the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills learned in the classroom to a practical scenario. By seeing the real-world applications of their learning, they gain a deeper understanding of how STEM subjects play a vital role in their everyday lives.
Please see the flyer and photos below and we hope you will be able to support this wonderful fundraiser!
Sincerely,
Adam O'Shea
