Mr. Macken's Message
Centerville Families,
As we navigate this winter season, we’ve noticed an uptick in illnesses among our students over the past week. To help keep our classrooms healthy and our students learning, we’d like to share a few reminders and tips:
- Stay Home When Sick: To help prevent the spread of illness, please keep your child home if they are feeling unwell
- Fever-Free Policy: If your child has had a fever, they must be fever-free for 24 hours (without the use of fever-reducing medication) before returning to school.
- Handwashing is Key: Encourage your child to wash their hands thoroughly and often, especially before eating and after coughing or sneezing.
- Healthy Habits: Make sure your child is getting enough sleep, staying hydrated, and eating a balanced diet to help strengthen their immune system.
Thank you for partnering with us to keep our school community as healthy as possible. We appreciate your continued support and care. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Wishing your family good health.
Go Cougars!
Mike Macken
