Lizandra Rubio, Co-Host of BISD Online Video Announcements, takes us through the third week of December and right into Christmas Break. Highlights from the week: On Monday, 12/16/24, the BHS Band conducts their annual Christmas Concert at the National Theater downtown at 6:30 P.M. On Tuesday, the Lady Buckaroos and Buckaroos join forces for a set of district basketball games here at home at the AFA, and the High School Cheer Team will also showcase their January competition routines for us. In keeping with the Christmas season, East Elementary 3rd graders present their Christmas play at Bailey Auditorium on Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 A.M. The BHS Junior Class Ring Ceremony will be from 6:00-7:00 PM in Bailey Auditorium on Wednesday, and the Junior High wraps up their fall semester with their awards assembly on Thursday at the following times: 6th Grade - 8:35 AM; 7th Grade - 9:20 AM; and 8th Grade - 10:05 AM. If the weather holds, the BHS Rocket Science class will fly their rockets at the Stephens County Airport also on Thursday. Thank you, Lizandra and the video production team.
