MISSION STATEMENT
ACA's mission is to provide an excellent Christian education serving the needs of students with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
VISION STATEMENT
ACA's vision is to inspire and transform lives in a spiritually vital, caring community as we serve God for His glory, and provide an excellent Christ-centered education.
100 Days of School!
ACA's 100th day of school was filled with joy and delight! Students were invited to dress up for the occasion. Some donned hand-crafted 100 themed t-shirts, while others chose outfits that made them look 100 years old. To conclude the day, our entire school enjoyed a pep rally with a staff versus students basketball game.
Winter Dance
ACA's middle and high school students had a blast at their Winter Dance! The dance floor was packed thanks to DJ Jonathan Yagid's incredibly fun playlist of classics, line dances, and pop music. There was also a scrumptious grazing table filled with snacks, an outrageously delicious main course, and beautifully festive dessert table, prepared by our own chef Tina.
BASKETBALL π
This winter ACA had 4 basketball teams. There were varsity teams for girls and boys and JV teams for boys and girls. We are so proud of our athletes who exemplified perseverance as they developed their skills on the court and worked together as teammates.
Student Spotlight: Soriah Zakhary
Hi, my name is Soriah. I am a freshman student here at Ambassador. On January 31, 2024 I left for a seven day mission trip to El Salvador. I was there with a group of 22, ages 9 to over 60. While we were there we worked alongside La Capilla Church in San Salvador. Our goal was to encourage and partner with them through ministry. These ministries included multiple VBS (vacation Bible school) programs in different areas, soccer camp, acting out skits, praying for each other, and going door to door to evangelize and pray with people in their homes. As we came alongside the local churches and each other, we encouraged one another in Christ.
I was put in charge of the craft for the VBS which meant I had to cut 1,000 flowers and 200 flower pots out of construction paper before leaving for El Salvador. But I was stressed and didn't have enough time. The day before I left, Mrs. Post and Mrs. Rosenberger encouraged me to bring the supplies to school so others could help. The day of the trip, I came to ACA in the morning, put the supplies in Mrs. Postβs room, and went about my day. By the end of school, everything was in my locker all cut out! High schoolers, other students, and teachers took their class and break time to help me cut out everything. It was so special to share that with the kids in El Salvador.
One other unexpected and beautiful thing happened at ACA. The day of my departure, all of the high school students, my teachers, and the administration squeezed into Mrs. Post's room. They all prayed for me and for my trip. My friends, my teachers and the staff prayed for things I hadn't even thought about or shared with them which made me know how much they cared. They didn't know I was nervous but their prayers over me gave me peace about leaving.
Psalm 96:1-3
Oh sing to the Lord a new song;
sing to the Lord, all the earth!
Sing to the Lord, bless his name;
tell of his salvation from day to day.
Declare his glory among all the nations,
his marvelous works among all the peoples!
Whether you are in your neighborhood, on vacation, in school, or in a different country, wherever you are, wherever you go, as Christians we are called to share the love of Jesus and good news day by day. Seven days of serving Jesus might sound boring to some people, but these seven days were the best days of my life! They were filled with joy and laughter. If you think serving Jesus is boring, you are mistaken.
