Message from the Principal
Dear CETC Community,
We are nearing the middle of the semester and our staff is proud of the exceptional work taking place with our students. Every day, I am impressed by our students' capabilities and achievements. Upon reviewing recent data, I am excited to share that our students have collectively earned over 1,000 certifications while attending CETC this school year. This accomplishment is truly remarkable, and we are grateful to provide students with opportunities to earn relevant industry certifications right here on our campus.
In this newsletter, we will highlight our Health Sciences Program. As the largest program at CETC, our Health Sciences program offers numerous opportunities for our students to explore careers in the healthcare field, from Nursing Assisting to EMT and beyond.
Don't forget to check out our Twitter page for all the latest highlights from our campus.
Sincerely,
ToniJo Niccoli

Meet the Teachers

Jennifer Moreno-Leyva
I’m Jennifer Moreno, and I’ve been teaching four years, all of them at Career Elevation and Technology Center. I teach Medical Office Administration, Disease Process and treatment, Nursing Assisting, and Introduction to Healthcare/Medical Terminology. In my free time, I enjoy being outside and spending time with my family. I graduated from Skyline High School and grew up just east of Longmont. It is a privilege to be able to educate our future healthcare providers in the same district I attended as a child. One thing I love about teaching at the Career Elevation and Technology Center is the students we serve, and the staff here are committed to our students. We are lucky enough to work with students that are truly invested in their education and I am able to share my passion for healthcare with them.
Valerie Swanson
I'm Valerie Swanson, and this is my second-year teaching in the Health Sciences Department at the Career Elevation and Technology Center. I have been teaching for five years and have spent three years in the medical field. I love working at CETC because I get to partner with amazing high schoolers who teach me something new every day. In my free time, I like playing beach volleyball, snowmobiling, and board games.
