Happy New Year! We hope you and your families enjoyed a wonderful Holiday Season and a restful break. We are excited to welcome all our students back to school as we begin this new year. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 7th, and we look forward to a productive and engaging new year.
Here are a few reminders as we kick off January:
1. School Start Time: Please ensure students arrive promptly by 8:00. We begin classroom instruction at 8:00.
2. Uniforms and Supplies: Please check your child's uniform as they may have had a growth spurt over the Winter Break. Please review the Dress Code. Donations of tissues would be greatly appreciated.
3. Upcoming Events: Keep an eye on your emails for upcoming grade-level activities and important dates this month.
*Students return to School on January 7th
*No School on January 20th for M.L. King Jr. Day
We are enthusiastic about the New Year's opportunities and look forward to continuing to support your children in their learning and growth.
Wishing everyone a happy, healthy, and successful 2025.
Intermediate
The positive growth we've witnessed socially and academically in 3rd-5th grade is a testament to the hard work of the students, teachers, parents, and staff. Watching our children gain independence, become lifelong learners, and form strong social connections is exciting. All of those factors contribute to the child's confidence, which leads to risk-taking and, therefore, more growth. We are so proud of our students for the accomplishments they made in the first semester, and we look forward to watching them meet their goals for semester two.
The Intermediate Team
Middle
Middle School is back from break and ready to learn. The new semester means new schedules for our students. Changing electives is a great opportunity to find other talents. Learning to play the guitar or keyboard, working on Agriculture projects, getting ready for the fair, and meeting a new peer buddy are just a few of the things happening.
The Middle School Pep Rally will be held on January 31st. This fun event is hosted by the FFA and it will showcase all State and County Fair participants. Getting to cheer on your friends will be a lot of fun. You may even get to see your favorite teacher kiss a pig.

National Twin Day
On 12/18/24, we had a fantastic time celebrating National Twin Day! Students and staff came dressed in matching outfits to celebrate the fun and unique bond that twins share. It was a day full of creativity, laughter, and camaraderie as pairs of twins, best friends, and even teachers teamed up to show off their matching styles.
Thank you to everyone who participated! It was a wonderful reminder of the special connections that make our school community so vibrant. We look forward to more fun celebrations throughout the year!
Keep an eye out for future events and let’s continue to make memories together!
Academy at the Farm is lucky to have 16 sets of twins making our school twice as special .
School Experience
FFA
The 4th Annual FFA Merry Movie Night was a festive and fun-filled event, raising over $700 for our chapter! This event supports our FFA members in choosing donations, completing community service projects, and promoting agricultural literacy. A special thanks to NJHS and FBLA for joining in the celebration and making the evening even more memorable. These funds will now be put to good use as our chapter votes on how to best support our community. Thank you to all who participated and helped make this event a success!
