Tomball ISD and Lakewood Elementary value your feedback. On Monday, March 4, you received an email from TISD Communications with a brief survey to tell us about your experience of Lakewood. To ensure we continue to provide high quality, rigorous learning experiences that meet the needs of our learners and prepare them for their best futures, we need your feedback. We want to know what you think. The survey closes on March 29. You will be able to take the survey online at home or on the go on your mobile device. More information to come! The PTO is excited to announce that as a part of their Spring Fundraiser they will be hosting a color run during field day on March 22nd! If you would like to purchase a blank track sign to decorate for your student(s) to see as they run, you can purchase those HERE for $5. Track signs need to be purchased no later than March 19th and returned by March 20th.

Lakewood Elementary 2023-24 Yearbooks are on sale now. The last day to purchase yearbooks is April 14th. Yearbooks will be a sturdy softcover with all-color pages. They are on sale for $25 with the option to add your student’s name for an additional $5. Yearbooks can be ordered at www.ybpay.com. Our yearbook id code is 14997624.

Now, it's time to earn tickets to the Sugarland Space Cowboys game.

Students in PK-4 can earn a ticket by reading 4 books!

Our library has grown! You can connect with the Harris County Public Library (HCPL), and your books will be delivered to Lakewood. When you are done with the public library book, return it to any TISD library and we will send it back to HCPL. What will you put on hold to be delivered to Lakewood today?

Lunch visitors are not allowed on March 22nd due to Field Day/Color Run. Lunch visitors are not allowed on April 16th & April 30th due to the STAAR Tests. Thank you for your understanding.

Lunch is a part of the instructional day, and each lunch lasts 30 minutes. As a fast-growth District with limited space in the cafeteria, we have assigned days for parents to eat lunch with their students. We will be continuing with the same process as last year for visitors, see below:

• Mondays - Students with last names A - D
• Tuesdays - Students with last names E - L
• Wednesdays - Students with last names M - R
• Thursdays - Students with last names S - Z
• Fridays in March - Students with last names M - R
