Jeffries Families,

Can you believe it's March? This year has flown by! This past month, we enjoyed connecting with our families at Bowling Night and watching our 3rd grade students perform. We look forward to all the fun things that 4th quarter brings and can't wait to make memories with each of our students and families.

As a reminder, Spring Break is coming up. Students will be out of school beginning Friday, March 14th. They will return on Monday, March 24th. We hope that you have a wonderful and relaxing Spring Break!

• Please call the main office 417-523-3900 if you'd like to visit with your classroom teacher. Mrs. Jennelle or Mrs. Linda will leave a note for your child's teacher and they will call you back during their plan time or after school. Please refrain from calling teachers on their classroom phones.
• If your student is going to be absent, please call the main office to let us know.

Please continue reviewing the PRIDE matrix (pictured below) with your student and talking to them about how they model these behaviors at school. This month, your child is earning signatures to spend on the following experiences:

As we enter our final quarter of the year this month, attendance continues to be important! Our students have a lot to learn in 4th quarter, and we want them to finish the year strong. Our March attendance challenge is Lucky Charms themed! The classes will add lucky charms to their virtual cereal bowls every day they have 95% or higher attendance. The winning class will earn extra recess!

Additionally, we are tracking tardies at Jeffries! Each month, students who have no tardies get to place a sticker on the gumball scoreboard for their grade-level. We are excited to fill our gumball machines up and celebrate getting to school on time!

End of Year School Medication Notice

The last day of school is may 23rd. All medication that your child has here at school will need to be picked up by 2:30p.m. on Friday, May 23rd. Any medication left at the school after that time will be disposed of in accordance with SPS district policy. (This includes inhalers, spacers, epi-pens, and over the counter medicines).

Doors Unlock (and breakfast begins) at 7:00 AM. The bell rings (and breakfast ends) at 7:20 AM.

School Dismisses at 2:20 PM.

*For safety purposes, please do not leave your child unattended or waiting outside the school entrance doors prior to the doors being unlocked at 7:00 AM.
