Bond Project Updates
Projects from last school year's bond elections are underway, and summer highlights include new playground shade structure installation, new furniture, flooring and casework replacements, track and field lighting at all five high schools, and more. Thank you, voters!
Flooring & Casework Replacements
New flooring is being installed in select areas at Griffin Middle School, and casework (cabinets, built-in shelves, etc.) is being removed and replaced at Morningside Elementary this summer.

TECC-East Breaks Ground on Voter-Approved Expansion
Lewisville ISD’s Technology, Exploration and Career Center East campus (TECC-East) recently broke ground on its facility expansion. This construction was approved by voters in the 2017 bond election and will be the final major project from the 2017 referendum. READ MORE
Graduates Shine at Collegiate Academy Celebration
Going for Gold at the Job Olympics
Lewisville ISD students are seeing gold after the district recently hosted its 15th annual Job Olympics.
LISD high school students competing in the milestone Olympiad showcased their skills in events aimed to provide meaningful activities for students with a cognitive disability. LISD Life Skills courses available across the district provide opportunities for students to learn functional skills such as folding laundry, sorting mail, data entry, vacuuming and more. Students also learn effective tips for interviews and how to complete job applications. READ MORE

CTE Showcase
LISD Career and Technical Education (CTE) provide students hands-on learning to build the knowledge and skill necessary to be successful as they prepare to attend college, enter the workforce or enlist in military service.
TECC-West Culinary Featured on CBS News
Students from the TECC-West Culinary program recently competed in the annual Taste of the Cowboys cooking competition. WATCH
Five Star Ford Lewisville Donates New Vehicle to TECC-East
Lewisville ISD's TECC-East campus recently accepted the generous donation of a brand-new Lincoln Aviator from Ford Motor Company and Sam Pack Five Star Ford in Lewisville. READ MORE
1,245 Graduating Seniors Awarded Over 6,500 Professional Certifications
Students from all five Lewisville ISD high schools earned professional certifications through the district's CTE programs. LISD professional partners have also already committed to hiring many students upon graduating, or after completing company-specific education or training courses.
