BRMS Track & Field
BRMS track and field practices will begin on Monday, March 31st, from 3:45 to 5:00 p.m. There will be a call-out meeting on Friday during eighth period.
8th Grade Baseball
Baseball Coach Harpring has cancelled 8th grade baseball practice for today (3/21/2025) Check Team Reach for the upcoming schedule during Spring Break.
2025 Rushville Lady Lions Softball Camp
Rushville Lady Lions Softball Camp will be held on Saturday, April 5, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Lady Lion Varsity Diamond for students in grades 2 through 8. The cost is $35 per attendee, and registration forms must be received by Monday, March 31, to guarantee a t-shirt. Registration forms are available from the kiosk by the red desk.

Rush County Youth Soccer
Rush County Youth Soccer spring league registration is available this year for the following ages:
U11: 2014-2016
U13: 2012-2013
U15: 2010-2011
Rush County Youth Soccer is a travel soccer program that plays against other area soccer teams, such as Fayette County, Henry County, Union County, and more. The furthest we travel is about an hour to Richmond and Dela.ware County. We utilize experienced coaches to help players develop strong technical skills while teaching them more tactical aspects of soccer.

After School Weights
After school weights for BRMS athletes will be held on Mondays from 3:40 to 5:00 p.m., and on
Wednesdays from 2:45 to 4:00 p.m. Participating students may ride Bus 51 to RCHS, and students must be picked up by parents from RCHS after weight training.

You must have a current physical on file at BRMS in order to participate in any sport. Physical forms are available in the sports information kiosk in the lobby, along with athletic schedules and calendars. Please see Mrs. Maranda Marcum, Mr. Brown, or Mr. Sliger in the athletic office behind the stage in the cafeteria if you have questions about BRMS athletics.
Important Reminders
Washington D.C. Trip - Parent Meeting
A meeting for parents of students going on the Washington DC trip will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7th, in the BRMS cafeteria. Parents, please plan to attend this important meeting. The Washington DC trip is from Tuesday, April 29th, through Saturday, May 3rd.
2025 Spring Dance!
Mark your calendar! BRMS Student Council will sponsor a Spring Dance on Friday, May 9th, from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. More details about the theme, ticket sales, etc., will be coming soon! This will be a casual dress dance!

Changes to ILEARN for the 2024-2025 School Year
Please note that BRMS has opted to help the state pilot new changes for the ILEARN state assessment. Instead of taking one end-of-year assessment, we will take 3 checkpoint assessments through the year and then the end-of year assessment. Please see this FLYER with more parent information and links to resources from the Indiana Department of Education.
Lions Shack Food Pantry
The Lions Shack Food Pantry located at RCHS will now be open twice a month (except for January) on the first and third Thursdays from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. The pantry is open for all teachers, staff, and
families who attend or work in Rush County Schools.
