Celebrating a Year of Growth, Joy, and Togetherness!
As we enter the final month of this incredible school year, I want to take a moment to share just how proud I am of every single student at Cook Hill Elementary School. This year has been filled with learning, laughter, kindness, and so many examples of what makes our school community so special. Together—students, staff, and families—we’ve worked hard to promote a positive school climate, and your efforts have made a lasting impact.
Our last day of school for students will be Friday, June 13th, and it will be a half-day early release. Please remember that all remaining school days are mandatory attendance days. As a school, we’ve been working toward our important attendance goal: to have less than 10% of our students considered chronically absent. Let’s finish strong together!
The last few days of school will be filled with memory-making moments and camaraderie. We’ll be honoring students with perfect attendance, as well as celebrating those who have shown improvement in attendance based on our district goals. On our final day, students can look forward to Fun in the Sun Day—a time to play, celebrate, and reflect on all they’ve accomplished this year.
We also encourage students to share their summer plans, stories, and photos! We can’t wait to hear about the adventures and joy our students experience in the months ahead.
